A Sneak Peek at My Travel List: From Home to the World

Image
Since I was a kid, I’ve loved the idea of traveling. I dreamed of exploring the world through television, the internet, or magazines. I imagined checking off destinations on a big map until I had seen them all and put them on a photo album. Though it may seem like a big dream, I hold onto it because every journey starts with a dream and a sense of adventure. As I grew up, I learned to appreciate the beauty of the Philippines. I realized that exploring my country first is just as important as going abroad. There’s something special about discovering the wonders of where you come from before visiting other places. I also believe that experiencing local treasures while exploring the world makes for an even greater adventure.  That said, while my ultimate goal is to explore the world, I’m starting with the places that have captured my heart and imagination. Here’s a sneak peek at my current travel bucket list featuring both local gems and international dream destinations! Philippines...

Dingalan, Aurora: A Rainy Month Adventure in a Summer Place

W hen I planned for this trip, I wanted to find the perfect destination for a quick yet memorable day tour—something that fit our tight schedule. Our first stop ...

One day, a colleague shared his stories as usual as a tour guide before and suggested that I travel since I'm a tourism student. This suggestion hit and inspired me to make a promise: I would plan a trip at the end of every school year as a reward for my hard work. Traveling became a commitment to explore, learn, and grow—something I had always wanted.  My first trip was to Baguio in June 2023 , with a side tour of  Northern Blossom Flower Farm . I went with a friend and booked a 3D2N Baguio + Northern Blossom package with Graciey’s Adventure .  Our first stop was Northern Blossom , located in Atok, Benguet and is  one of the most memorable places I’ve ever been to. But every time I share my experience, I never forget to mention what I went through before actually getting there.  Since the farm sits at the top of a mountain, the journey up was ...
